When I saw the movie and looked up more about it on the internet [yes, I AM a geeky girl :P ], my first reaction was -"WHAT ?!?! A 'self-help' book ?? How can that possibly be ?" It was weird to think about it at first but the movie is great. I love it - it's funny and it lives up to the books name - it explores the signs given by men. When I read the book, I realized that the movie did a great job of showing the signs in practical life and how much women obsess about them - it's kind of hard to imagine that when you're just reading the book. The movie includes clips of random people giving advice about the signs [I love that part !] and shows how interconnected but so different, the stories and situations of our main characters are. It was a delight to watch the transition of each and now when I compare it to the book, I'm pretty glad it got made into a movie. :)
Yeah, I know - most movies are unfair to the awesome books they try to follow - but this movie is completely 'da bomb' :P
